In our office, everyone celebrating this sweet day so today we posting to share the C-NET moment today♪ Also I use pretty font to make today’s blog look sweet too.
Valentine’s Day… also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is an annual holiday celebrated on February 14. It is recognized as a significant cultural and commercial celebration in many regions around the world, Valentine’s Day is originated from the Western Christian liturgical feast day honoring one or more early saints named Valentinus.
The famous story of how the Valentine’s Day began is,
Once upon a time in Rome… the marriage of a young soldier was not allowed.
Somewhat, in a state where a young soldier who has a loved one is left in his / her hometown, motivation of the army will fallen in down. Meanwhile, Christian priest named Valentine secretly allows a soldier and a lover to get married. In those days Roman Christianity was persecuted as a heretic religion and Valentine was executed as the sacrifice of the Rupercalia Festival on the day before the festival (which on February 14) for the sake to show everyone as warning.
Thereafter, among the Christians, Valentine were executed and an amoung Christians Valentine’s become Saint so this February 14 became the St.Valentine’s Day as the day of lovers.

バレンタインデーは聖バレンタインデーや聖バレンタイン祭とも呼ばれ、2月14日に祝われる、世界の年次祝賀行事です。世界中の多くの地域で重要な文化商業祝典として認められ、バレンタインデーはもともと、ローマ皇帝の迫害下で殉教した聖ウァレンタインに由来する記念日だと、主に西方教会の広がる地域において伝えられていました。
バレンタインデー期限にまつわる有名な話は、
その昔、ローマでは若い兵士の結婚は許されていませんでした。
若い兵士が愛する人を故郷に残している状態では、全体の軍隊の士気が落ちるという事。
その一方、ヴァレンタインと名付けられたキリスト教の司祭は、秘密に兵士と恋人を結婚する事を良しとしていた。当時、ローマのキリスト教は異端宗教として迫害され、バレンタインは警告と民への見せしめとして処刑されました。
その後、キリスト教徒の間でバレンタインが聖者となり、毎年2月14日が恋人の日として聖バレンタインの日になりました。
